Textatistic
Python package to calculate the Flesch Reading Ease, Flesch-Kincaid, Gunning Fog, Simple Measure of Gobbledygook (SMOG) and Dale-Chall readability indices. Textatistic also contains functions to count the number of sentences, characters, syllables, words, words with three or more syllables and words on an expanded Dale-Chall list of easy words.
Requests-Raven
Requests-Raven is a custom Requests class to log onto Raven, the University of Cambridge's central web authentication service. Requests-Raven includes subclasses to remotely access bibliographic information and PDFs stored on JSTOR, EBSCOhost and Wiley.
Requests-AEAweb
AEAweb recently changed its website so Requests-AEAweb no longer works; fixes available soon.Requests-AEAweb is (another) custom Requests class, this time to log directly onto AEAweb.org, the website of the American Economic Association. Requests-AEAweb includes a subclass to directly access bibliographic information and PDFs from the American Economic Review.
Requests-NBER
Requests-NBER is (yet another) custom Requests class, now for NBER.org, the website of the National Bureau of Economic Research. Like its predecessors, Requests-NBER includes methods to directly access bibliographic information and PDFs for papers released as NBER working papers.
